First Time Use

Welcome to FB Lucky Draw Marketing Software (FANSDIG)! This tool will assist you in automating your lucky draw events, managing fan interactions effortlessly, and conducting the draw, making marketing tasks much easier.

Step 1: Installation

1. Download the FANSDIG Software.
2. Before installation, please install Google Chrome browser.
3. Unzip the downloaded file and run Setup.exe to install.

Step 2: Install Extension

1. Open the FANSDIG main program, click Settings → Install Chrome Extension, and copy the installation path.
2. In the Chrome browser, click the three dots in the upper-right corner → Settings → Extensions → Manage Extensions.
3. Enable Developer Mode, click Load Unpacked, and paste the copied path.
4. After installation, you will see the FANSDIG extension in the upper-right corner of your browser.

Step 3: Run the Draw

1. Open the Chrome browser and log in to Facebook.
2. Open the fan page where you want to conduct the lucky draw and click the post's publish time.
3. Use the FANSDIG extension to scrape the data.
4. Return to the FANSDIG main program, click Select Another File, and choose the data file you just downloaded.
5. Click Match to filter the list based on the selected criteria.
6. On the lucky draw page, enter the prize name and number of winners, then click Draw to start selecting the lucky winners.

Installation

Installation Environment Requirements

This software must be installed on a personal computer running Microsoft Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system.

System Requirements

The software must be installed on a computer with Microsoft Windows 10/11 64-bit operating system and is recommended to use the following configuration:

1. Processor: Intel Core i5 or higher
2. Memory: 16GB RAM or more
3. Hard Disk Space: At least 500GB SATA III hard drive
4. Display: 1920x1080 resolution or higher

If you're unsure whether your computer meets these specifications, you can first install the free version for testing. As long as the free version runs smoothly, the professional version will also perform well.

Install Google Chrome for PC

To ensure the software runs properly, you need to use the Google Chrome web browser. Please download and install Chrome first.

Install Software

After downloading the FANSDIG software, extract the compressed file to start the installation.

1. Go to the folder and click the Setup.exe executable file.
2. The FANSDIG installation wizard will open, click "Next."
3. Choose the FANSDIG installation folder, the default is C:\Program Files (x86)\FANSDIG\FANSDIG, then click "Next."
4. Confirm the installation and click "Next" to begin the installation of FANSDIG software.
5. Once the installation is complete, click "Close" to finish.

Click Start, select All Programs, and you can find the FANSDIG program shortcut under FANSDIG.

Execution Steps

For the first-time execution of FANSDIG, follow these 13 steps:

1. Click on Settings in the FANSDIG main program > Install Chrome Extension, then click the Copy button in the upper-right corner.
2. Open the Google Chrome browser, click the three dots in the upper-right corner, select Settings > Extensions > Manage Extensions.
3. On the Extensions page, click Developer Mode in the upper-right corner. After clicking, buttons will appear on the left side.
4. Click Load unpacked on the left, paste the copied path, and click Select Folder.
5. Open the fan page, find the post, and click on the posted date and time.
6. Scroll down with the mouse wheel until you see the number of likes and comments on the post. Click on the number of likes once and then close it.
7. Click the FANSDIG extension button in the upper-right corner of the browser, then click Start Search.
8. After the search is complete, click the Download Data button below and save the file on your desktop.
9. Return to the FANSDIG main program and click Select Other File on the main screen.
10. In the file selection page, click Open File, and select the file you just saved on the desktop.
11. Click Compare in the FANSDIG main program, and you will see the list appear on the right side of the screen.
12. Click Lottery to enter the lottery page, enter the prize content in the Prize Name field, select the number of people to draw on the right side, and after entering the information, click the Gray + button on the right to add the prize.
13. Click the Lottery button below, and you will see FANSDIG begin the lottery process.

Environment-related Settings

Text Application and Item Size

• Windows 10 users, click on Start, select Settings, then click on System, and set the Change the size of text, apps, and other items to 100%.
• Windows 11 users, click on Start, select Settings, then click on Display under System, and set the Scale to 100%.

Other Applications and Scheduling Settings

To avoid interference and interruptions, please disable Windows background scheduled tasks, such as disk defragmentation, scheduled antivirus scans, hardware checks, Windows or other software automatic updates, etc.

Install Extension

FANSDIG requires Google Chrome browser to function properly. Please click the link below to download and install the browser.

1. Click on Settings → Install Chrome Extension at the top of the FANSDIG main program.
2. Click the Copy button at the top right of FANSDIG.
3. Open Google Chrome browser, then click the three dots in the top-right corner → Extensions → Manage Extensions.
4. On the Extensions page, click Developer mode at the top-right. After clicking, a button will appear on the left.
5. Click Load unpacked on the left, then a dialog box will appear. Paste the previously copied path and click Select Folder.

Statistics Data

You can use FANSDIG to collect statistics on likes/comments/shares for the post you want to draw from.

1. Open the fan page, find the post you want to use for the lottery, and click the post’s published date/time.
2. On the post page, click the FANSDIG extension button at the top-right of the browser.

Note: If you can't find the FANSDIG extension, first click the Extensions button, then in the extensions window, find FANSDIG and click the Pin button to pin the FANSDIG extension to the Google Chrome browser.

3. In the FANSDIG extension window, click Start Search.
4. After the search is completed, the Download Data button will appear at the bottom. Click it to save the data to your designated location.

Start Lottery

After the extension has collected the data, you can start the lottery in the FANSDIG main program.

1. Open the FANSDIG main program and click Select Other Files in the top-left corner.
2. Find the file on the page and click Open on the left. If you can't find the file, it may be stored in a different folder. Click Change on the right to change the search folder.
3. On the left side of the FANSDIG main screen, you can choose to filter by specific moods, comment content, and whether there has been a share. Click Match to view the participants who match your filters on the right.
4. Click Lottery to go to the lottery page.
5. On the lottery page, enter the Prize Name and Number of People. After entering, click the + symbol on the right side of the number of people.
6. Click Lottery to start the drawing.

Special Lists

You can set up special lists in FANSDIG. FANSDIG provides the following three types of members.

• Regular List: This is the main type of members to be selected during the lottery.
• Fake List: You can set accounts that are fake or on the blacklist as Fake List. These accounts will be excluded from the lottery.
• Insider List: Accounts used for marketing purposes to increase the number of participants can be set as Insider List. These accounts will be excluded from the lottery.

To set it, right-click on the member in the list, then click Special List to assign one of these three special list types.

The software supports three languages: Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and English. You can switch languages by going to Settings -> Language.

Uninstallation Guide

If you want to remove FANSDIG Marketing Bot, you can follow these steps to complete the uninstallation:

1. Click on the Start menu in the bottom-left corner of your computer.
2. Find and click the Fansdig folder.
3. Click Uninstall Fansdig.
4. In the confirmation pop-up window, click Yes to complete the uninstallation.
